My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Graphite 🐾🖤

Smooth, smoky, and impossibly handsome, Graphite looks like he stepped out of a royal portrait and into the kitten room. This long-haired gray gentleman may have a little Maine Coon in his mix (those regal looks don’t come from nowhere), but don’t let the dignified exterior fool you. Under all that floof is a very friendly, very playful, very typical kitten.

Graphite loves attention, purrs easily, and approaches life with the confidence of someone who knows he’s easy on the eyes. He pencils himself right into your lap, sketches circles around toys, and leaves tiny paw-print doodles all over your heart.

His backstory adds an extra layer to this masterpiece. Graphite was found completely alone in the woods, in the snow, in the middle of nowhere. No warm home. No mom. Just this little gray guy toughing it out. Somehow, he came through it with his sweetness fully intact and his trust still sharp.

If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts playful and polished, affectionate and adventurous, Graphite might just be the perfect fit. He’s ready to trade survival mode for sofa life and turn your home into his forever canvas. ✏️🐾

His adoption fee is $90 and this includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and a microchip that we register for you. To apply, visit our website at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
