Dustin is a sweet 1-1/2 year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on December 31, 2025 along with his five companions/housemates (Erica, Hopper, Joyce, Max, and Robin). Unfortunately the individual(s) who left them in our care did not provide any information about them ..
This handsome young man has a black/brown short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful face with green/gold eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Dustin was given vaccinations, Pyrantel wormer and flea treatment on December 31, 2025/ He weighed 7 lbs that day. Dustin was given booster vaccines on January 14, 2026.
These pictures of Dustin were taken on January 31, 2026 with HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton by his side. The original plan was to take Dustin into our 'studio' (i.e., the shelter bathroom) for his photo session but after hearing that Dustin really enjoyed out-of-cage time when kennel techs were cleaning his cage each morning .. The photographer switched to 'Plan B' (smile). So we snapped a few pictures in his cage and waited for Dustin to begin his personal orchestration of the session .. And he certainly lived up to his reputation!
Dustin has a lovable, affectionate personality and is a social butterfly in every sense of the word. Dustin melted our photographer's heart BIG time when he followed her around like a little puppy dog and came running toward her (and the camera lens).
Dustin will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on February 9, 2026) and will be ready to find a fabulous home. This little lovebug will surely be a wonderful companion/faithful friend to whomever is lucky enough to adopt Dustin.
