These cosmic kittens are 8-week-old Domestic Shorthairs who have grown up right here at the shelter. Their mother was found as a stray by a kind person who took her in just in time, as shortly after, she gave birth to these four stars! Raised under the watchful eye of their mama and socialized by our dedicated staff and volunteers, these kittens are goofy, cuddly, and full of love. While each one is special in their own way, they all share a darling sweetness and are ready to bring a little joy into your life!
The Cosmic Kittens are microchipped, vaccinated to age, and available for foster to adopt until they`re old enough to be spayed/neutered at The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter in Pequot Lakes, MN. We strive to ensure a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals and to find each animal a new and prosperous home.
The Babinski Foundation is a private 501c3 animal shelter located in Pequot Lakes, MN. We are a safe place to surrender dogs and cats. We also are a stray drop-off facility for stray cats and dogs.
OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
