Meet DINK The Sweetest Senior Snuggler!

Dink is very sweet 12 years old, 43 pound boy who we think is a schnauzer mix, likely with Terrier or possibly Shepherd influence.

Dink is a soft-hearted senior boy who wants nothing more than a cozy couch, a warm lap, and someone to love. Hes the definition of a snuggle buddy calm, sweet, and happiest when hes curled up beside you. Dink also has a playful side to him which includes lots of tail wagging but snuggles are more his thing.

This gentle soul was rescued from a local dog pound after his owners tragically lost their home in a house fire. Through all the upheaval, Dink has remained incredibly loving and trusting. Hes ready for a new chapter with a family who will cherish him.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.

Our mission is provide rescued dogs another chance to find their forever homes. We rescue from high kill shelters, hoarding situations, and from families in crisis.

We are a private, nonprofit, all breed, no-kill dog rescue.
