My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Valentina

Valentina is a playful, goofy lovebug who’s all about affection and adventure! She’s the kind of pup who wants to be right by your side — whether that means cuddling on the couch, exploring the outdoors, or giving you one of her signature hugs. She absolutely loves to be loved and will soak up every bit of attention she can get.

This sweet girl is food motivated and currently working on gaining a little weight. She enjoys toys but isn’t destructive if she doesn’t have any around. When she gets excited, Valentina can be a bit mouthy, but she’s gentle and learning good manners every day. She’s also been known to hop up on the dining table using the bench — a little quirk her foster family is helping her work through!

Valentina is great with kids, loves all dogs, and is even good with cats, making her a wonderful fit for just about any family. She’s both house and crate trained, though she’d much rather be out and about sharing her love.

Full of heart, hugs, and happiness, Valentina is ready to bring endless joy and affection to her forever home.

More about this rescue

Mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and find qualified loving homes for neglected, abused, and unwanted Huskies throughout Texas. To educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the special qualities of the Siberian Husky Breed.

History: Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. was created in May 2009 as a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization that is run entirely by volunteers and does not have a paid staff or a shelter. Texas Husky Rescue, Inc relies solely on volunteer foster families to take huskies into their homes until permanent, qualified, and loving homes can be found. Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. is a responsible animal adoption agency and requires that all dogs over 6 months are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We ensure that none of our dogs will ever contribute to the overpopulation of dogs in our community. The work of Texas Husky Rescue, Inc. is supported by tax-deductible contributions by individuals, corporations, and grants.
