Spice is a young, sweet black kitten (about 8–9 months old) with the softest heart to match her sleek coat. She’s spayed, healthy, and ready to find a forever home where she can truly shine. Spice is incredibly loving and enjoys being close to her people. She likes to hang out wherever you are, cuddle up for naps, and quietly be part of your day. She’s playful and will happily engage in playtime, but she also has a calm, relaxed side and loves to sleep and snuggle. She coexists beautifully with dogs—mostly ignoring them, though she may occasionally try to initiate gentle play. While she’s currently the only cat in the home, we believe she would do very well with another friendly cat and would likely enjoy having feline companionship. Spice is an excellent house guest: she uses the litter box perfectly, eats and drinks well (she loves mealtime!), and does great overnight without needing to be confined. She’s respectful, well-mannered, and easy to have around. Like many cats, she may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine, but once she settles in, she will be a wonderful, loyal companion. Spice is truly a “good little kitty” with so much love to give, and she would make a beautiful addition to a lucky family.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Once submitted, one of our volunteer Application Processors will conduct necessary background/landlord/vet and reference checks.
