Blackie is truly the nicest kitty you’ll ever meet—a loyal, loving boy with a heart as big as his personality. After being rehomed from his original family, Blackie escaped and somehow found his way back home twice, proving just how devoted he is. Sadly, his original owner then requested euthanasia, but thankfully a compassionate veterinarian said no. With the help of partner rescues, Blackie made his way safely to CKC, where he’s been nothing but wonderful.
This confident, affectionate guy absolutely loves attention and will happily “dolphin jump” to rub his face against your knees for extra pets. He thrives on human connection and wants to be part of your daily life. Blackie will need a home that’s mindful around doors—he’s got a strong homing instinct and might try to head “back home” to New Mexico if given the chance.
