My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apple Bunny is STILL waiting for her forever family 💔🐰

Apple is 4 years old and has been with us since her dramatic rescue in April 2022 — found hiding inside a car engine at the Richmond Auto Mall! Mechanics discovered a furry stowaway under the hood and immediately called their upstairs neighbors at RAPS Animal Hospital. And just like that, Apple’s second chance began.

Apple is a quirky, spicy-sweet bun who knows exactly what she likes. She prefers to be the only bunny, but she adores kittens and cat friends (the respectful, non-snacky kind 😅). She’s affectionate, tidy, litter-trained, and full of personality.

We adore her—but we want nothing more than to see her finally find the loving home she deserves. Could Apple be the perfect spicy sweetheart to complete your family?

Additional adoption info

We adopt kittens in pairs (under 1 year of age) and consider adoptions of single kittens into homes that already have a well-matched kitten or cat. We do not split bonded pairs. Some of our adult cats prefer to reign solo as the only cat in the home. While the majority of our adoptables are at the Adoption Centre and in our foster network, there are a small number of cats available for adoption at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary.
