My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny is a super sweet, soft-hearted companion who lives for belly and booty scratches and has endless love to give.

Bunny is ready to be someone’s steady, affectionate companion. This handsome guy is gentle, loving, and happiest when he’s near his people. If you enjoy a cozy evening at home and a cat who will keep you company from across the room or right by your side, Bunny could be your perfect match.

Once he feels comfortable, his soft and silly side shines through. He’ll roll over for belly rubs, lean into your hand for pets, and happily chat with you while you prepare his meals. Bunny loves his routine and will trot over as soon as he hears dinner being served. While he isn’t always a lap cat, he truly enjoys physical affection and being part of whatever you’re doing.

During the day, you’ll often find him stretched out in a sunny spot or perched on his cat tower like the seasoned professional he is. At night, he likes to do a little exploring, checking the windows and inspecting cozy corners before settling in again.

Bunny would thrive in a slightly quieter home where he can relax, soak up attention, and build a strong bond with his person. Bunny is FIV+, which just means he’ll benefit from routine vet care and a loving, stable home, and he’s ready to give that love right back.

If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who will greet you at mealtime and melt for belly rubs, Bunny is ready to meet you!
------------------------------------

This cat has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is specific to the felines and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. Cats with FIV can live normal, happy, healthy lives, but the virus can weaken a cat's immune system. FIV is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered, so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting. Our staff will be happy to tell you more about FIV, and you can learn more about FIV here: phillypaws.org/fiv

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at manning.ma29@gmail.com to learn more about them! In order to meet with any cats in foster care, you will need to have a fully processed and approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp.
