Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scratch!!
Male/Neutered Age: Almost 3 years Adoption Fee: $145
Scratch is a big, handsome boy with a little street cred to show for it. Those scars? They’re not flaws, they’re proof of a life lived and the reason he earned his very cool name.
He’s a former street cat with a confident personality and prefers to be the one and only feline in the home. Other cats need not apply; Scratch likes to be in charge and won’t hesitate to take control.
This guy has a lot to say and will happily chat with you while accepting some well-timed pats. He enjoys affection on his terms: short petting sessions are perfect, he lets you know, when he’s had enough, it’s best to listen. He’s not a biter or scratcher, he just appreciates having his boundaries respected. He’s also not a fan of being picked up (yet).
Beneath that tough exterior, he’s a tough guy who’s ready to come out of his shell in the right home.
Scratch absolutely loves a good scratching post and would thrive in a home that understands his independent streak and lets him be himself.
If you’re looking for a cool, confident companion with personality for days, Scratch might just be your guy.
Walk-in hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - 12:00–4:00 PM
If those times don’t work, simply fill out the Adoption Inquiry Form on our website under the FORMS tab, and we’ll gladly arrange a meet-and-greet that fits your schedule.
