Hi there! My name is Tundra, and I am a 6-week-old female Husky mix with a gentle heart and a soft, soulful nature. My siblings, my mom, and I were found dumped at an abandoned house when I was only about 2½ weeks old — just before the winter freeze. Thankfully, the rescue brought us to safety, where we’ve been able to stay warm, grow strong, and learn that the world can be a loving place.
I may be a little sweet and shy when we first meet, but once I feel safe, my loving personality truly shines. I enjoy quiet moments, cozy naps, and staying close to the people I trust. With a patient family who will help build my confidence, I know I’ll blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. There is something so special about earning the love of a shy puppy — and I promise I am worth it.
Because I am still very young, I haven’t completed all of my vetting yet. I will be eligible to go to a foster-to-adopt home starting February 13, 2026. Foster to adopt means you get to take me home and love me while the rescue handles all of my remaining vetting. Once everything is complete, you’ll be able to finalize my adoption and make it official!
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pup who will form a deep bond with her family, I might be the perfect addition to your home. I can’t wait to find the people who will help me feel brave, cherished, and forever safe.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
All of our pets are in foster homes, so they would visit our website or social media to find a pet
Submit Application
We have an adoption application online that has to be submitted before any action is taken.
Interview
I, or a team member, interview the potential adopter via phone call and then the foster interviews them as well.
Approve Application
The adopter must be vetted and approved prior to any further steps.
Meet the Pet
If the adopter is local, they would schedule a meet and greet with the foster at this time. If they are out of state, they would video chat.
