Meet Jinro🌟

1.) Health Condition
* Neutered.
* Microchipped, undergoing treatment for heartworm.
* Recieved treatment for a large wound on the back of his neck at the time of rescue. After receiving stitches, we are currently disinfecting the area every day.

2.) Rescue Story
* Jinro was abandoned in an empty house after his previous owner moved away. He was tied up and living alone. He entered the Gimje City Shelter with extremely matted fur. Adogs urgently rescued him after seeing he had a large wound on the back of his neck.

3.) Basic Information
* With People: Really loves people and isn’t shy. Flops over, showing his belly when being petted. Has a lot of charm!
* With Dogs: Lives with other dogs at the Center. He “picks” one friend to follow around and play with. Has a tendency to annoy weaker dogs.
* With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unclear, as he’s living in a communal environment at the Center. Will need basic training in a home environment.
* Potty Training: Uses potty pads indoors with a 50% accuracy rate. Marks with his pee.
* Hygiene: Received grooming at a professional groomers. Since he enjoys human touch, he got through it quite easily.
* Walks: Hasn’t been on a proper walk yet due to heartworm treatment.
* Car Sickness: Lied down in his kennel calmly on a short car ride.
* Biting: Sometimes chews on clothing playfully, but doesn’t bite otherwise. Once something becomes a target, he tends to keep biting playfully.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
