Brandy is a beautiful, friendly, and sweet 6½-year-old girl. She’s still active and enjoys her playtime, but she also appreciates her rest and downtime. Brandy has lived a quieter lifestyle—nice walks, backyard playtime, and then relaxing comfortably in the home.
She is crate trained, though her owner does not crate her when she is home alone. Brandy would do best in a home that isn’t overly active, one that allows her to enjoy her playtime while also respecting her need to rest when she’s ready.
Brandy was not raised with children, other dogs, or other animals. If there are children in the home, we are looking for a family with kids ages 13 and older.
If you are interested in Brandy, please visit gsgsr.org and complete an adoption application.
For those who already have a current application on file with us, we will be reviewing applications to see if Brandy may be a good match for your family. If so, we will be reaching out.
If you believe you can provide the home Vinny needs, please contact Garden State German Shepherd Rescue by completing an adoption application at gsgsr.org.

Additional adoption info
GSGSR foster dogs are rescued from shelters and pounds in New Jersey where most were facing euthanasia or through our owner referral or surrender program.
They are fully vetted, brought up to date on vaccinations and spayed or neutered. They live with our volunteers in a foster home so we can evaluate them before they are offered for adoption. This allows us time to get to know the shepherd so that we can make the best match with their new home.
Our adoption process includes and filling out an adoption application form on our website at www.gsgsr.org. We require 3 references as well as a vet reference if you have an animal. We conduct a phone interview and home visit and then match up the best available dog that matches the applicant's needs.
