ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Skywalker — a relaxed, friendly, and playful guy who’s easy to have around. I have a soft, gentle nature and enjoy human companionship, especially when it comes with pets, scratches, and snacks (I love food!). I’m very affectionate once I’m comfortable, often leaning in for attention, nuzzling, licking, and even rolling over for more love. I walk calmly on leash and take new situations in stride, recovering quickly if something startles me.
HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I’ve shown neutral, calm behavior around other dogs. I didn’t pay much attention to dogs we passed or even a stuffed dog, and I recovered quickly from mild startles with reassurance.
HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown.
HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown.
I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I don’t appear to have a strong response to my name or recall yet and may not have spent much time living indoors. I’m very food motivated, which should make training rewarding and effective with consistency and positive reinforcement.
MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
I did not mark indoors, but I did have a potty accident when left alone briefly. When it happened, I appeared fearful and hid, suggesting I may have been punished for accidents in the past. I will do best with patient, positive house-training and reassurance that mistakes are okay. I’m calm and easy to leash, enter, and exit spaces smoothly.
THINGS I LIKE:
Food and treats (very food motivated!), gentle affection, scratches, calm walks, relaxed environments, and being near people. I happily accept kibble as treats.
THINGS I DISLIKE:
Loud or sudden noises (like doors slamming can startle me), and I may counter surf if food is left out. I’m not very interested in toys and prefer people and snacks instead.
