Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kenny. Kenny joined the NorCal family when he was rescued from the Oakland shelter, after being found as a stray.
Kenny is as sweet and loveable as his picture portrays. He is a little bit skittish and slow to warm up, when he first meets you, but as soon as he feels safe he will jump up for pets and kisses. Kenny is a really good boy. He walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides and in typical cocker style, he will follow you anywhere and quickly becomes your best friend. Kenny can be mellow and chill in the house, but is an active, energetic boy, especially if he has canine buddy to play with. He can easily jump a 4 foot fence and will run around like a crazy puppy, if given the opportunity. Kenny definitely needs a good size, secure, fenced yard to play and explore. He also has some separation anxiety, so he needs someone that can be home with him the majority of the time. Kenny is potty trained with a doggy door.
Kenny has been to the Vet. Other than a heart murmur, he is in good health.
If you are interested in Kenny, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
