Twist is part of a quintuplet of siblings we brought up all the way from Kentucky! They were an accidental litter that a family kept, likely with good intentions, until the five little puppies turned into 20 then 30 then 40 lb dogs! That is how so many dogs wind up in shelters in rural areas, sadly.
We took them one or two at a time, and each one was more adorable than the next! They were like nesting dolls, too, with each one being smaller than the other! Dougie and Macarena were first and the biggest, then we had perfect medium gal ChaCha, followed by small fry Cupid Shuffle. Now we have Twist in all of her 30lb glory!
Twist is a perfectly-sized companion who will make a great starter dog, or dog for a person in any stage of their life. She is gentle and loving, and dog and people friendly. Twist is currently roomies with Bullseye, a fun and outgoing personality that she gets along great with. Twist also does well with shyer dogs, too.
At just the right size and age for training, she’s the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and sweet, cuddly charm. With a little guidance and a lot of affection, Twist is sure to blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. We hope you will ask about her today!
Twist’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
