My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cornelius Fignewton the Third (Yes, the Third. It’s a legacy.)About His Royal Fig-nessCornelius Fignewton III is a dashing orange-and-white gentleman with the softest face and the strongest opinions. He came from very poor living conditions, but instead of becoming bitter, he chose to become… affectionate, chatty, and deeply invested in human companionship. This is a cat who believes communication is key. He meows—to greet you, to respond to you, to comment on the weather, and occasionally just to hear his own voice. It’s never rude. It’s more like polite narration. Languages SpokenMeowMrrpSoft questioning “meeh?”Loud announcement meow (important) Cornelius is gentle, loving, and openly affectionate. He has the kind of soul that makes you think, “Wow, this cat really trusts me.” He wants to be included, adored, and spoken to like the important man he is.He’s not demanding—just sincerely invested in being part of your life. If you’re looking for a sweet, chatty, handsome orange boy with a big heart and a lot to say,Cornelius Fignewton the III is ready to assume his rightful place on your couch (and in your heart).
If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
My adoption fee is $25.
