Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mavis and Johnny!
Mavis and Johnny are an adorable bonded pair of 8-month-old kittens who were found together when they were very young. A kind family gave them a safe, loving start before reaching out to HART to help them find their forever home—together, where they belong.
These two are an absolute joy to be around. Playtime is their favorite activity, and they take it very seriously! They have lots of playful kitten energy, but when the fun winds down, they’re more than happy to soak up pets, cuddles, and quality time with their people.
Johnny is a confident, fearless orange boy with a big heart. Nothing fazes him—not even the vacuum! He’ll walk right up to it while it’s running and rub against it like it’s an old friend. Johnny adores attention, loves lap time, and is perfectly content being held. His mission in life is simple: to be loved.
Mavis is a sweet, playful girl who is all black except for one single white whisker—a tiny detail that makes her extra special. She also has an irresistibly cute head tilt that gives her even more personality. Our vet has not found anything physically wrong and it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She plays hard, loves being close to her people, and enjoys all the affection she can get.
Both Mavis and Johnny will stretch up your leg to ask for attention and come running when you call them—proof of how people-oriented and connected they are.
They would do best in a home without other cats, as they’re not comfortable sharing space with feline companions. They are a bit unsure around large dogs, but with a calm dog and a proper introduction, they may adjust over time.
If you’re looking for a bonded duo full of personality, affection, and fun, Mavis and Johnny are ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless joy.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
