Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter is a wonderful 2 year old black male dane who was surrendered to MAGDRL because his owner wanted a better life for him. He was recently neutered and had a gastropexy performed and is healthy and happy. He is a fun loving, exuberant young boy who loves to play and run. He shares his toys with his foster sister and has met a few other dogs with tail wags and play bows.
He wants to play with the cat in the foster home and chases her but then walks away when he realizes he cannot fit under the bed where she hides. He shows some curiosity with the chinchillas but mostly ignores them. Hunter knows basic commands and has excellent recall. He is food motivated but is also happy to be rewarded with love and praise. He is trying to work on his leash manners but it is just so hard to be good all the time! He wants to go go go.
A big fenced yard with or without another dog that can handle his energy would make Hunter so happy. He loves his people and follows the foster family from room to room. If you want privacy, forget about it. He is in your business. He is crate trained but would much rather sleep in bed with you. He loves to go in the car but does cry on car trips.
Hunter is such a good boy and would be so happy to have a new forever home.
