Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Hi! I am Perogi.
I am very new to this living inside thing. I was born under a church in Alvena and learned to fend for myself right from the beginning. I was very good at being independent and taking care of myself, but as it turns out, living inside a safe warm home is fantastic!
I am slowly getting used to living with people so my forever family will need to be patient with me, while I settle in. I am still very timid, but day by day I am becoming more comfortable around people. When I feel safe I am happy to sit next to my foster mom for snuggles, pets, and some play time. I love watching fish on the TV, and dinner time is the best time. I like to let my foster fam know when I am hungry or say a happy hello with my little meows.
I also LOVE my foster moms other cat. I snuggle up to him whenever he will let me. I am very relaxed around him, and my foster mom thinks I would do well in a home with other cats.
I can’t wait to find a family that will take their time to get to know me and I am so happy to know that I won’t need to spend another winter outside.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): When Perogi was a kitten he developed an infection and ulcer in his left eye. He was seen by an ophthalmologist and It has healed completely. The eye doesn’t cause him any trouble, but it has left some scar tissue that looks a little cloudy. A potential adopter would need to keep an eye on it in case anything changes.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
