My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m JoJo Who!

If you are looking for a purry lover boy, I am your man. I’m your perfect mix of active and chill.  There’s nothing better than an exercise session with my sister, followed by a nap with my humans.   They provide a wonderful, soft, and warm lap, which is great.  But there are times when I like to curl up on a blanket with Cindee Lou. I've found that I really enjoy warm spots, so if you can’t find me, I might be near the warmest spot in the house.

I enjoy exploring and ensuring that things are functioning properly, but I’m a little more reserved than my brave sister.  I love playing with my springs and jumping out of our tunnel to surprise Cindee Lou. I really like catnip and my cat tree.  I haven’t met a toy I didn’t like. We love chasing each other in a great race. Oh and I am also a perfect litter box user.

I have never been away from my sister, so I need to be adopted with her.  I haven’t met a dog, but I’m sure I could learn to like one with slow introductions. I have met other cats, and they were great.  I actually got them to play a little more.

I currently have some sneezing, but have been treated with medications.  I’m not contagious to humans or other animals .

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
