My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is an adorable tuxedo kitten wrapped in soft, fuzzy fur and an even softer personality. This gentle soul is the ultimate companion cat, happiest when she has feline friends to follow and learn from. Cricket has a charming way of mirroring the cats around her, adapting to their energy and style like a sweet little shadow. Whether her buddies are playful or laid-back, Cricket is right there with them, soaking up their confidence and companionship. She'd thrive in a home with another cat who can show her the ropes and give her the feline friendship she adores. With Cricket, you're not just getting one sweet kitten—you're getting the perfect addition to your existing cat family.

Cricket is FIV positive, but that should not affect her ability to live in a home with other cats as long as introductions are slow. To learn more about FIV, please read: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-infection

All Stray to Spay cats & kittens are: Fully vaccinated, Spayed/neutered, Dewormed, Triple tested (FeLV, FIV, Heartworm). Adoption includes an application, vet/reference check & virtual home visit. All of our cats are fostered indoors in loving Omaha-area homes until they find their forever family!

More about this rescue

Stray to Spay is a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organization dedicated to helping community cats. When we come across friendly cats and kittens during our work, we bring them into foster care to prepare them for adoption. Every cat receives full vetting, lots of love, and a safe start to their new life indoors.
