"FRANCISCO is an 11-month-old male cat, approximately 10 lbs, who is fully vetted and ready for adoption, yet he still lives outdoors while waiting for his family.
He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, 3DX negative, and on preventatives. Medically, he is completely ready. What’s missing is not care — it’s a home.
FRANCISCO gets along well with the other cats in his colony and is tolerant of dogs. He does not react when he sees one; he simply stays calm and observes, showing his gentle, steady temperament. He could do well in a home with cat-friendly dogs.
He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality comes out. FRANCISCO enjoys being petted and seeks affection, though he is not a lap cat. He shows love in his own gentle way and sometimes gives small playful nibbles when he’s happy. He enjoys playing with toys and used to love wrestling and playing with his brother, who has already been adopted.
Right now, FRANCISCO spends most of his day on the balcony of the person who feeds him. He sleeps on the couch, seeks company, and often sits in front of the window or door as if asking to be let inside. He already acts like a house cat — he just doesn’t have one yet.
Although he currently lives outdoors, Francisco behaves like an indoor cat and is ready to transition into a home with patience and love.
FRANCISCO is ready.
He doesn’t need more time.
He just needs a family willing to open the door and let him in forever.
