Roman is a 12-week-old mixed breed puppy (DOB: 10/24/25) with a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes. He came from an accidental litter that became overwhelming for both his biological mama and his human family, but Roman has absolutely blossomed in foster care.
This little guy is just discovering the joys of puppyhood—learning how fun toys can be, enthusiastically embracing mealtime (he LOVES food), and soaking up everything he can from the dogs around him. Roman truly adores other dogs and looks up to them, learning by watching and following their lead. Thanks to his foster sister, he picked up walking on a leash for neighborhood strolls impressively fast!
Roman is a total people lover and an A+ snuggler. Whether he’s cuddled up with his humans or happily tagging along behind his canine role models, Roman is all about connection, comfort, and love. He’s going to thrive in a home ready to guide him through puppyhood with patience, consistency, and lots of affection.
If you’re looking for a sweet, dog-social, snuggle-loving pup to grow up with your family, Roman might just be your perfect match.
Adoption Application: www.jasperslegacy.org/apply-to-adopt
************************
Roman is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at www.jasperslegacy.org/apply-to-adopt
Adoption process:
Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.
From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.
Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
