This helps Jersey Shore Animal Center with pet care costs.
This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative.
Meet Randy
This sweet senior boy has been through so much. Pulled from an overcrowded Philly shelter, Randy arrived in rough shape and spent weeks in our medical room fighting off a nasty upper respiratory infection. Once he was feeling better, he even had a dental, what a trooper!
Picked up as a stray in an apartment building, we can’t help but think he may have been left behind…and that just breaks our hearts. The shelter estimated he was around 10 years old, but based on the condition he came in, he may be closer to 15.
Despite everything, Randy is incredibly gentle and loving. and he even seems to like other friendly cats.
All he wants now is a cozy, peaceful home to spend his golden years, complete with soft beds, warm laps, and a human who will make him feel safe forever.
Could live with smaller calm dog who has lives with cats before.
Could you be the one to give Randy the happy ending he’s waited so long for?
*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
