Frederick, a handsome grey and white tabby cat, was dropped off at a local pet store before being surrendered to EHS. He adjusted very quickly to his foster home and has been busy charming all those around him. Now Frederick is patiently waiting to work his charm on a forever family.
ABOUT FREDERICK - In foster - Frederick is described as a sweet, gentle, affectionate, and curious boy. - He loves to cuddle and allows family members to pick him up, purring up a storm to show how happy he is. - He also enjoys keeping people company by sitting on their laps. - Frederick is not fussy when it comes to being pet; any spot is just fine! - His foster mom describes him as being “energetic, but at the same time very much `watching out` as to what is happening, so not running into new adventures before asking for approval.” - Frederick absolutely loves the company of, and is very happy to be around, the other cats in his current home. He can be found playing and making zoomies with foster cat, Noelle, and sleeping or playing football with resident cats Chewie and Artie. - He also loves his owl, Hedwig; he sleeps with it and likes to use it as a kicking toy. - Frederick has fun chasing soft balls, Hedwig the owl, and his chew rod. - He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
FREDERICK’S IDEAL HOME - It is important that Frederick either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with another compatible EHS cat. - He loves human company and would be more than happy to have children in the mix. - Kittens like Frederick require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
Frederick’s name means “peaceful ruler” in its Gemanic roots. If you are looking to bring a bit of peace and order to your household, Frederick would be more than happy to comply. Schedule a meet up today. Frederick is waiting!
