Meet Bernarde!

Bernarde is a 3-year-old male poodle with a beautiful white coat, weighing just 7 lbs. He was pulled from a shelter and is now ready to enjoy the comfort of a loving home.

Bernarde is a sweet, gentle boy who may take a moment to adjust in a kennel setting, but once he’s outside and with people he trusts, he relaxes and shows his true, affectionate personality. He loves calm companionship and feels happiest when he’s near his person.

He will need a little help with potty training, but with a consistent routine, he’s eager to learn and do well.

Bernarde is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him time to settle in and plenty of gentle support. With a stable environment, he’ll be a devoted and loving companion.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Home visit: You will be contacted by a volunteer to set up a time for a virtual home/yard check.

Call with Foster or Kennel Manager to set up a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
