My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meowllo, potential adopter! My name is Prima Ballerina, and I answer to Ballerina. As my name implies, I am a divine diva and have certain expectations of my new family.

Since I have been raised for most of my kittenhood in a cage, due to my many ear infections, I am just learning to socialize with other cats and people appropriately. My foster mom says I have graduated from fairly feral to a love bug in training with an occasional kitten spicy side.

My foster sisters are adults. The older sister runs from me, and I like to chase her to hear her squall. It’s so funny! The younger sister stands her ground and occasionally gives me a hiss and corrective smack to let me know I’m being way toooo much. She’s my favorite; I want her to love me, so I always return for more lessons.

I very much like the little human who lives in this house and all the toys she throws my way, especially anything with feathers that I can pretend to kill and carry to my condo. I may be only five pounds, but I am fierce!

My foster mom says I’m getting better with my bed manners too; although, I still like to play in her hair at 5:30AM to let her know I’m ready for my breakfast. After breakfast, I arabesque chasse, pirouette, releve, grand jete, and flick flack (look it up; it’s one of the most difficult moves, and I have mastered it!) all over the house until lunchtime.

If I haven’t intimidated you yet, I need to discuss my dietary needs. To help prevent future ear infections, I’ll need to be fed a probiotic mixed in with my chicken byproduct free foods. I require wet food twice a day and mostly smack my dry food around to watch it roll, but it’s still appreciated occasionally. If you are deemed worthy enough to adopt me, a list of what I’ve been eating in foster care will be provided. It isn’t the most expensive stuff, but it isn’t the cheapest either.

I’ll need you to continue flushing my ears once a week with the enzymatic solution the vet prescribed for me as well.

I know, I’m a lot; however, I give so much in return. You will never tire of my athletic antics, beautiful fur, or my sweet side when I snuggle in close at bedtime. I am happiest when my human assistant is nearby and paying me my deserved attention.

I don’t like to discuss bathroom etiquette, but, if you must know, I’m perfectly content with any type of litter you provide. I often practice my stretches and kicks while in the litter box, so you may want to procure one with tall sides or a cover.

If you have further questions, my assistant will be happy to screen them for me. Have a purrfect day!
