Hi, I’m Azriel.
Yes—that Azriel. Named after an archangel, and I do my best to live up to it every single day.

From the moment I landed in foster care, it was clear that I was meant to be close to humans. Very close. If you’re looking for an affectionate, devoted companion cat… I’m your guy.

I’m the kind of cat who follows you from room to room just to be near you. I’ll curl up in your lap (and stay there), press against you on the couch, and even sit patiently by the tub while you shower—just to make sure you’re not lonely. I’m cuddly, loving, and completely committed to my people.

I’m also quite chatty. I like to share my thoughts, narrate my day, and check in with you regularly. I love to play—interactive playtime with my humans is a favorite—but I’m also perfectly happy entertaining myself with toys, zooming around, exploring, and generally keeping life fun.

I have the perfect balance of energy and calm: playful and curious when it’s time to move, and deeply snuggly when it’s time to rest. A true companion cat in every sense of the word.

I also have a very special bond with my buddy Cassian (Cass). Even though we’re currently in different foster homes, we adore each other—and if you’re open to welcoming two angels into your life, we’d be thrilled to be adopted together.

I was rescued in partnership with ACT Spay Neuter Clinic in Stockton, and I’m now ready for my forever home.
