My name is Cassian!

Cassian (aka Cass) — “The Little Prince”

Hello, I’m Cassian… but my friends call me Cass. I’ve also been known as The Little Prince, which feels correct because I am gentle, affectionate, and very fond of being adored.

I’m a social boy who truly loves people. If you sit down, I’ll be right there asking for pets (and trust me—my fur is very soft, so it’s a win-win). I’m totally fine being picked up, I’ve never hissed or scratched, and I’m always happy to meet new humans. I’ll even greet you with a cheerful meow or two… or five. I’m quite conversational and enjoy a good back-and-forth.

I have classic kitten energy and love to play—chase, tug-of-war, you name it. I proudly carry my toys all around the house, and when I play with you, I’m very polite: I keep my claws retracted and stay gentle, even when things get exciting. I’m curious, but not destructive—I don’t scratch furniture or knock things over. I just like to see what’s going on.

Not too long ago, I was a shy little guy who jumped at every sound. In just one week, I’ve grown so much and found my confidence. The only thing I’m still working on is my sleep schedule—I sometimes get bursts of nighttime energy and like to start the day a little early. My humans think this will calm down as I get older (and I agree).

I’m definitely a lover, not a fighter. I’d be happiest with someone who’s home a lot—I don’t love being alone—or with a family with kids, because I’m patient, sweet, and endlessly affectionate.

I also have a very special bond with my buddy Azriel (even though we’re in different foster homes). Friendship matters to me.
