Meet Gill — A Brave Little Fish with a Gentle Heart
Gill may be named after a fearless Finding Nemo hero, but in real life he’s a super shy yet very sweet kitty who’s quietly working up his courage one day at a time. He’s looking for a calm, indoor-only home where patience flows like a gentle current and everything moves at his pace.
Gill may do well with quiet teens who respect boundaries, and one thing is absolutely essential: other friendly cats are a MUST HAVE for him. Having feline “tank mates” helps him feel safe, grounded, and more confident as he settles in. He’s unsure about dogs, so a peaceful, bark-free reef is best. Gill will need lots of extra time to adjust and truly trust, but once he does, his sweetness shines through.
Gill’s Perfect Tank Setup: Plenty of cozy hiding and napping spots (driftwood caves encouraged!) Cat trees, scratching posts, and window perches for gentle exploration Tons of toys, especially interactive and catnip-filled ones
Favorite Treats: Treats, wet food, catnip, and calm encouragement
If your home already has friendly feline companions and you believe in patience, kindness, and just keep swimming, Gill is ready to glide into his forever family.
Behavior and personality assessment is based on information provided by previous owner(s) and/or observations in a shelter environment and may not accurately reflect the pet`s behavior in your home.
