My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freya is looking for a job! Working cats are wary of people, but they make excellent pest-control partners for barns, wineries, workshops, warehouses, and even private homes! Our Working Cat Program places cats who prefer minimal human interaction into safe, supportive environments where they can thrive while helping control rodents.

Adopters must provide:
•A secure structure that offers protection from the elements and predators
•Access to natural light
•Fresh food and water every day
•A soft, dry, warm place for the cat to sleep

These cats may not want cuddles, but they do want a safe home—and they’ll repay you by keeping unwanted pests in check
