Mowie is Chihuahua/Dachshund mix that is normally named chiweenie. He is small at 12pds and fully grown. He is crate trained but has to use a belly band (in the house to keep him from marking) while we work on that. He can be a bit feisty and if you know the Chihuahua breed that is where he gets it from. We do not want to place him with households with children under 9 years old because he gets really nervous with smaller ones. He would be happier with older children. Mowie loves playing with smaller dogs and has been very scared and timid around larger dogs until he knows they won't hurt him. This little fella is a total sweetheart once he knows your a safe human and only wants to love him. Get those applications in today to meet and adopt this little guy.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
