My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yeti is an 11-year-old neutered male terrier mix with a heart as soft as his name suggests. This sweet senior boy truly just wants your attention and your love. He’s happiest when he’s near his people, soaking up pets and enjoying the simple joy of being by your side.

Unlike his buddy Benji, Yeti isn’t the self-proclaimed boss of the group — but don’t mistake his gentle nature for weakness. He’ll absolutely stand up for himself when needed. He carries himself with quiet confidence and a calm maturity that only comes with age.

Yeti has an incredible amount of patience, especially when it comes to the antics of the other two pups. He takes it all in stride, proving he’s the steady, easygoing soul of the trio. His sweet temperament makes him a wonderful companion for a peaceful home looking for a loyal, loving senior to cherish.

If you’re looking for a gentle gentleman with a big heart and the patience of a saint, Yeti is ready to give you all the love you’ve been missing.

CAME IN WITH ROCKY AND YETI. WOULD LOVE TO STAY TOGETHER.

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
