Hi. I’m General Chow Chicken. Yes — that General Chow Chicken. ????
I run a tight kitchen… mostly because I’m always on the move. I’m a young chow mix with a busy brain, bouncy paws, and a deep, lifelong commitment to snacks. If there’s food involved, you have my full and undivided attention. If there’s not food involved… well, you might have to book an appointment.
I’m the independent type — a true chow classic. I enjoy affection, but on my terms. A quick pat? Sure. A long cuddle session? I might politely hop away to handle more important business, like zooming, exploring, or checking if anyone left food unattended on a nearby surface. (Counters beware. I am a professional opportunist.)
I’m playful, silly, and always ready to bounce into action. Walks are exciting because the world is exciting, and sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me — but hey, that just means I’ll thrive with someone who likes an active lifestyle and is excited to work with me. Training is extra fun because I already know some basics and I love treats. Seriously. Treats are my love language.
I’m friendly and social in my own way — I say hello, accept a snack or two, then dash off like, “Okay cool, see ya!” I’d do great with someone who understands dogs that don’t need constant reassurance but still enjoy connection and play.
So if you’re looking for:
A playful, food-loving goof
A chow-type personality with opinions
A dog who’s affectionate but not clingy
A general who runs his household with snacks and silliness
Then congratulations. You’ve been promoted to my human.
Respectfully, General Chow Chicken ????
