My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bentley (A141082) is a 7-month-old AK Husky x Lab mix who weighed 55 pounds on intake!

02/05/26 This happy, active boy is Bentley! Bentley was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own, but because the child in the home was allergic to him. With that being said, his surrendering owner had fabulous things to say about him! Bentley was said to do great with babies, children, and strangers! He also has historically done well with other dogs and even cats! It is important that you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals so he continues to have positive interactions. Bentley was stated to be kennel-trained, housebroken, rides well in a car, and knows quite a few commands! He is a high-energy breed, so it is important that he continues to receive plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him out of trouble. Bentley was known to jump fences and to be a digger. He should always be supervised when in a fenced-in yard and kept on a leash for outdoor adventures. If you are interested in meeting Bentley, please let us know!
