When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Transferred from Humane Society of Pikes Peak where the litter was surrendered with mom; the mom was not a transfer candidate due to aggression and the puppies were on the euthanasia list. Litter of 8, 5 female / 3 male, approximately four weeks old at time of transfer. Came with the name "Margarita".
From the foster: “Margarita” or “Sabrina” as we have been calling her is smart as a whip and ready for adventure! This little girly pop is truly one of a kind. She is so sassy and fearless! She really likes to explore and go off on her own. She has been good to come back so far with a little whistle and I believe her recall will be great as she learns. She is really good about going potty outside but still occasionally has accidents. She always goes potty when we are outside though. She really enjoys being outside and running around with her brother. They both like to nibble on sticks and fight over them. She enjoys toys and playing tug of war. She is a little mouthy still since she is a puppy but redirecting to toys as been helpful. She has been great at bedtime and going into her crate. When she hears us up in the morning she gets really excited and starts crying to be let out. If you’re looking for an adventure dog, look no further than this little one!
