Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Eddie! Eddie just joined us from an unfortunate situation! Thankfully Eddie (along with his brothers from different litters Jimmy and Ollie) was saved by a good Samaritan who saw something, and did something about it!

Eddie was being left out in cold weather, and being physically tormented at his former home. We are grateful that these 3 were released to our awesome Samaritan, because a whole new world is now open to them. Warm homes, loving touches and a happy ever after.

Eddie is so affectionate, playful, and great with other dogs of all sizes! We believe Eddie is a Chihuahua Doxy or Chiweenie and he has the most adorable underbite, just look at those teefers!

Eddie will see our vet and be neutered soon, vaccinated and Microchipped included in his adoption donation.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application to express your interest in a dog. We will do our best to respond quickly, please be patient

2.
Home Check

This will be a virtual review of your home and time to check references.

3.
Interview

You will have a phone interview to discuss your questions, information about the dog, and best dog for your exact situation.

4.
Approve Application

This will occur after the above steps and positive phone interview.

5.
Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be scheduled. If everything is as expected, we plan on the dog going home with you from this meeting.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Must be completed at or prior to the meet and greet to result in an adoption.

7.
Pay Fee

Then take pet home and live happily ever after together!

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
