Goose was brought in by a community member on February 3, 2026.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Goose! Goose wandered in as a stray, so we're still learning his backstory-but this silly guy already lives up to his name. He's a certified snack enthusiast (may get a little sharky when treats are out) and absolutely honks for attention from his people. Goose is still unfolding his personality, and we're excited to see this lovable goofball find a home where he can truly spread his wings.

Goose has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
