Alvin’s Personality

Alvin is a small, sweet, and easy-going boy with a gentle heart and a loving soul. He is social with both people and other dogs, and his calm, friendly nature makes him a wonderful companion for families or individuals alike.

He does great with children and, although he hasn’t lived with cats yet, his relaxed temperament suggests he could do well with a slow and proper introduction.Alvin enjoys playtime but is just as happy curling up beside you, soaking in affection. He loves being petted, bonds deeply with his people, and fits seamlessly into everyday life. He’s the kind of dog who brings quiet joy—affectionate, content, and always happy to be near his humans.

Alvin’s Ideal Home

Alvin would thrive in a calm, loving home where he is treated as a true family member and included in daily life. He values companionship, gentle routines, and affection above all else.

His ideal home includes:

• A family or individual who enjoys a loyal sidekick for both quiet moments and light play

• Respectful children who will be kind and gentle with him

• Friendly dogs (optional but welcome!)

• A household that offers consistency, affection, and stability

• A peaceful environment where he can feel safe and loved

Above all, Alvin is searching for a forever home where his sweet nature is cherished and where love is shared freely.

Alvin’s Rescue Story

Alvin was found wandering the streets of Guadalajara for several days—alone, confused, and vulnerable—until a kind rescuer was finally able to earn his trust and bring him to safety.

Despite his circumstances, Alvin remained calm and gentle, and it quickly became clear that he had once belonged to a family—he was already neutered, a quiet sign that someone had cared for him before.

Sadly, like so many dogs in Mexico, Alvin appears to have been abandoned just before Christmas, left behind during a time meant for warmth and family. Yet even after this heartbreak, he never lost his trusting and loving nature. Once rescued, Alvin adapted beautifully, showing just how easy-going and affectionate he truly is. Today, he is safe, cared for, and ready to begin a bright new chapter with a family who will never leave him behind again.

Location: Currently in MexicoTravel: Alvin will travel once a committed 10-day trial is secured

Adoption Fee: $600
