Temperament & Personality

Dolly is a happy, loving, and well-balanced young dog with a heart full of joy. She brings light and positivity wherever she goes and has a cheerful personality that’s truly contagious.

She loves playing with other dogs, chasing toys, and heading out for daily walks ‍. Dolly is smart, curious, and eager to learn, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and new adventures with her future family. When playtime is over, she’s also happy to cuddle and relax by your side.

Ideal Home

Dolly would thrive in a loving home that offers companionship, structure, and fun. She would do great with:

  • An active individual or family who enjoys walks and playtime ‍

  • Respectful children ‍‍‍

  • Another friendly, playful dog

What Dolly needs most is love, consistency, and time—and in return, she’ll give unconditional affection, happy tail wags, and endless joy.

Dolly’s Rescue Story

Dolly’s life didn’t start with kindness. At just 3 months old, she was cruelly abandoned outside a Petco store—left alone, scared, and confused.

Thankfully, a rescuer from the Misiones Caninas team witnessed the situation and stepped in without hesitation. Dolly was brought to safety and placed in a loving foster home, surrounded by care, patience, and other rescue dogs who helped her learn to trust and feel secure again.

Today, Dolly is a sweet, confident, and well-adjusted 1-year-old dog, ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a forever family of her own. From abandonment to becoming someone’s everything, Dolly’s story is proof that compassion and second chances save lives.
