Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!**
2-6-26: "Hello everyone, JIMMY CHOO here, and thank you for stopping to read all about me. I guess I will start with my details, so hold on, here we go! I am a Beagle mix, weighing in at 32 pounds, am just over 1 year old, had my vaccines, micro chipped and heart worm negative. My house and crate manners are near perfect and my Foster Mom is helping me learn my new, temporary life. You see, I was in a home with 2 of my other siblings, and suddenly, our family left, and didn't take us. From there, we ended up at the local, overcrowded county shelter. My sibling, Piper Ann was pulled a few weeks ago(and she is available for adoption as well!), and the rescue came back and got me! Now, so far I am adjusting to life in my foster home--they have a cat, and I am pretty much indifferent to the feline! My foster Mom takes me for walks, and I really enjoy it! My foster Mom says that I sit very nicely for treats and that I have a mischievous side to me by stealing shoes and some other things I shouldn't, lol. But she is working with me to not to do that behavior! At this time, I am not yet neutered, so that will take place in March, which is the first date we can get from the local low cost clinic the rescue uses. We will update that confirmed date once we know it. I can be met now, and PRE ADOPTED, but I cannot leave until that is done. I'd love to meet you!"
"If I sound like a boy you'd love to add to your life, just email for an application, or any questions you may have. For fastest response, please DO NOT call the number on here, email, as emails are constantly monitored! My adoption fee is $250.00 which covers all my vetting provided"
"I look forward to meeting you soon!"
Love,
JIMMY CHOO

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an application for adoption which is sent to them as soon as an inquiry is received. The application is reviewed, and the applicant's vet reference is checked by phone. If the applicant does not have a good vet record, the application is denied. If the applicant is renting a home, we ask for his landlord's name and phone # and check to make certain the applicant is allowed to have a pet. If there are any concerns regarding the application, we bring them to the applicant's attention and ask for clarification. This is done before the applicant meets the pet. We then set up a meeting at a mutually convenient time and place. If the applicant wants the pet, we ask for a check made payable to CFAW at the time the applicant takes the pet. The adoption donation is held for 3-5 days during which the potential adopter can decide whether (or not) he wants to permanently adopt the pet. If he decides not to adopt and returns the pet to us, his check is returned at that time. There is also a Pet Adoption Contract which basically states that the adopter will take good care of the pet. This is signed by both parties.
