If you’ve been waiting for a kitten who is equal parts tender, playful, nurturing, and impossibly snuggly… Persy is the one.
Born outside in BedStuy to the gentlest, most loving momma, Persy and her three siblings were rescued at just a few weeks old and brought inside to begin the FIP life. Though she started out as the tiniest and shyest of the bunch, Persy blossomed into a confident, affectionate little lady with the softest soul.
She’s the first to curl up beside you (or on you), the first to groom her siblings, and the first to start making the most delicate little biscuits before drifting off to sleep. Caring, nurturing, and endlessly sweet — Persy has a way of making everyone feel loved.
While she may play a little coy when guests arrive, it never takes long before she’s offering gentle head boops and soft snuggles — whether to her humans or her beloved sister, Goose.
And can we talk about her looks? Persy’s stunning gray tuxedo coat, complete with a tiny white star on her nose, makes hearts swoon instantly. She’s as beautiful as she is loving — and she’s got a playful streak too! Wand toys don’t stand a chance once Persy locks in. Her favorite place, though? Curled up under the covers with you, claiming her rightful spot as your cozy little shadow.
Persy is deeply bonded with her sister Goose, and they make the dreamiest duo. If not adopted together, she will need another sweet, gentle, affectionate feline friend in her forever home.

Our cats are almost all in foster homes. Upon approval of your application (including reference check), we will connect you with the foster parent(s) so that you can meet the kitty you're interested in. If it's a good fit, we'll do a home check for safety issues, and then process the paperwork so that you can officially adopt your new family member!

More about this rescue
We are a network of rescuers in Central Brooklyn (primarily in Bed Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights) who help each other out. We do both TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) as well as the rescue and adoption of friendly cats and kittens that we find on the streets. We don't have a physical facility, so our cats are usually in foster homes, or staying with us in our own homes. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats we take off the street, and to make better lives for the ones we return there.
