My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Danni

Domestic shorthair (DSH)

Female, 3 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations

Meet Danni 💛

Danni is the sweetest, gentlest little soul, just looking for a cozy spot to nap and a human to shower her with love.

As a tiny kitten, Danni was found very sick with severe eye infections. A wonderful person took her in and nursed her back to health. Sadly, her eyes couldn’t be saved—but Danni never let that dim her spirit. She spent her early years living with her rescuer but the rescuer has so many dogs that Danni was most often in one room. So her rescuer reached out to us in order to give Danni a better life. Danni is now ready to find her forever home.

Danni is a calm, affectionate girl who adores snuggling on a soft blanket—or even a pile of fresh laundry. She’s happiest when she’s curled up beside you, soaking in gentle pets and quiet companionship.

And here’s the wonderful part: living with a blind cat is no different than living with a sighted one. Danni navigates her foster home beautifully. She handles stairs with ease, hops up onto beds and furniture, and confidently explores her surroundings using her other amazing senses.

Currently fostered with other cats, Danni does well with calm, friendly feline companions, though she’s perfectly content keeping to herself most of the time.

This lovely girl is truly a gem—low-key, loving, and ready to fill her future home with warmth, softness, and snuggles. If you would like to meet her, please email our rescue c4ptoronto@gmail.com for an application and information.

More about this rescue

CAUSE 4 PAWS is a not for profit group in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We work with animal rescuers to help facilitate the rescue and adoption/foster of abused and/or homeless and abandoned animals and assist with the coordination and placement of these animals in forever homes. We only serve the Greater Toronto Area.

We predominantly rescue dogs. Our animals are adopted directly from foster care in most cases. We do not have a shelter.

We also work with a few partnering rescues in Ontario, US, and over seas. We cherish the relationships we have established and work very closely with these partners in order to facilitate a successful adoption. We are serious about our ad process and want only the best for our animals. We focus on finding the best fit for both animal and adoptee.

Cause 4 Paws is looking for volunteers to help with many different tasks such as administrative, transportation, fostering, fundraising etc. Please contact us if you are interested in helping in any way. To donate to our organization you may use our PayPal email address.
