My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vash Stampede 🌟🐾

Vash Stampede is a 3-month-old tan terrier puppy with a tender heart, soulful eyes, and so much love waiting to be shared. He was found at Clark Park with three other puppies, and like his siblings, Vash started life a little unsure of the world. At first he was shy and timid, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, playful puppy who just needs time to feel safe and confident.

As Vash settles in, his personality continues to bloom. With patience, gentle encouragement, and a consistent routine, he gains confidence each day—learning that people, toys, and cozy naps are all pretty wonderful things. He’s the kind of puppy who will thrive in a loving home that understands that trust takes time, and once it’s earned, it’s incredibly special.

Vash would do best with an adopter who enjoys celebrating small victories: the first tail wag, the first playful bounce, the moment he realizes he’s truly home. With the right family, he has all the potential to grow into a happy, loyal, and affectionate companion who will stick by your side through everything.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
