My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Journey! This terrific tabby, with a larger than life personality, has certainly had a bit of a journey to get to where she is. She apparently has been through a couple homes, through no fault of her own, and was recently brought to the SPCA suffering from a broken hind leg. Sadly she had to have her leg amputated but that isn't slowing her down. She is adjusting to life quickly on three legs and has quite the adventurous spirit. It is recommended that due to her missing leg, she either be an indoor only cat or only go out on harness or in a secure, outdoor area like a catio. We don't know exactly how she got injured but the hope is to prevent it from ever happening again. This girl will be just as happy inside if she has lots of toys to play with, scratching posts to climb, and gets lots of attention. She loves pets and is very friendly once she gets to know you. She can be a bit nervous at first in a new environment but soon her curiosity and outgoing spirit win out. We're not sure if Journey has lived with kids or other animals before but may be able to with proper, slow introductions. This lovely lady will make a wonderful companion and great addition to a home. Could it be you who steals her heart?
*JOURNEY IS CURRENTLY HEALING FROM HER SURGERY BUT WILL SOON BE ABLE TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED. Ask staff for more information.
