In a house (not a mouse), lived a boy quite immense, with a heart made of gold and a brain with good sense! He’s Zeus, the Great Dane, with a coat sleek and fine, and at eight years of age, he is doing just fine.
He doesn’t bark loudly, he doesn’t cause strife, he just wants to join in your wonderful life! He has a small brother, a Dane named Aries. They’re a pair of big fellows (though nobody’s scary).
What Can Zeus Do?
Oh, the things he can do! If you give him a look, he’s smarter than any old dog in a book.
He can SIT! (Yes, he can, on a rug or a floor!)
He can WAIT! (While you open the big wooden door.)
He’s GENTLE! (As soft as a breeze through the trees.)
He’s QUIET! (He aims-to-please, if you please!)
Do you work at a desk? Do you sit in a chair? Do you wish that a giant friend might just be there? Well, Zeus has a trick that is better than most, he’s better than coffee! He’s better than toast!
He’ll trot to your side with a step light and nimble, and rest his big head… not the size of a thimble! Right there on your desk, on your papers and pens, to show you he’s truly the best of all friends.

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
