This gentle giant is Dabney! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy with ID, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Dabney as a loving dog with a heart of gold. He walks nicely on leash, and he loves toys! He will sit so politely for treats, and takes them ever so gently. If you're looking for a mature, chill dog to spend your days with, please come meet Dabney!
Dabney is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 88 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Dabney is waiting patiently in kennel 873; his ID # is 16653.

We are volunteers for Cobb County Animal Services
Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
