My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shut the front door—meet Ellie!

This stunning girl is elegance, brains, and heart all wrapped into one gorgeous 1-year-old Border. Ellie is about 30 lbs (could use ~5 more) and absolutely shines in an active home that can keep up with her quick mind and happy feet.

Ellie’s play style is fast and her energy is high, making her an ideal match for an outdoorsy family or an individual looking for a running or hiking buddy. She’s clever (counter-surfers beware ), eager to learn, and would be a fantastic agility prospect with the right guidance and enrichment.

She’s house trained, good with other dogs and cats, and uses her crate by choice—it’s there for her comfort, not confinement. Ellie would thrive with a large yard or acreage where she can stretch her legs and put her smarts to work.

If you’re ready for a loyal, athletic companion who just needs the right energy match, Ellie might be your girl.
