Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name's Nova! My name can mean 'new' or 'bright star,' both of which I personally think fit me very well. Now that I am fully vetted, I feel like a fresh, new cat! And obviously the 'bright star' thing is totally accurate, I mean just look at me! Sometimes I hiss or sound spicy, but it's mostly just for affect to get someone to pay attention to me. I LOVE some good belly rubs too!

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.
